New Tourist Trail in Galera

Galera, one of the towns I have already talked about,  is one of the towns in the north area of Granada. It offers the  visitor the possibility of knowing a lot of things about history, as remains which belong to the first Europeans were found here... But, there are also references to later events. A new tourist trail has been opened in Galera. It is located in what is known as "El Cerro de la Virgen", The Virgin Hill.

For about 600 years The Moors settled and inhabited this hill, fact that ended when The Moors were expelled from Granada in 1570... so bearing in mind these facts, the tourist trail has been opened as a recreation of how people used to live in that period, what happened, and the fights that took place there.

It´s worth a visit.
